MacroMate Recorder is designed with a privacy-first architecture. All macro recording, mouse tracking, keyboard captures, and scripts are processed and stored locally on your computer. We do not run any cloud-based macro analytics, meaning:

  • Your recorded inputs, keystrokes, and clicks never leave your device.
  • We do not have access to your macros, file paths, or target window names.
  • No account registration is required to use the software.

2. License Verification

Our software connects periodically to our licensing server to check the validity of your activation key. During this process, the only data transmitted includes:

  • Your activation key.
  • A hashed hardware identifier (to prevent key sharing).
  • The version number of your operating system.

3. Payment Information

Payments for MacroMate Recorder are processed through trusted third-party gateways (Midtrans and PayPal). We do not collect or store your credit card details or payment credentials on our servers.

4. Third-Party Web APIs

Our website utilizes a free third-party Geolocation API to automatically direct you to the correct language subdomain. This API reads only your public IP address to detect your country and does not store any personally identifiable information.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated modification date.
